New Pricing Reflects Pharmaceutical Costs Worldwide

I have decided to introduce new pricing for renting my documentary. After this #WorldIBDday2017 weekend, I am increasing the price by 33,233.33 percent from $6.00 to $2,000.00. I have also eliminated the buy option, and made the rental period last for one month. I have set prices in countries outside of the United States that are much cheaper.

Cost of WANTED: Crohn’s End around the world.

Currency Cost
USD $2,000
EUR $1,000
AUD $720
CAN $680
GBP $680
NOK $540

If you would like a free copy of the film before the price increase, follow the directions on the front page and use the promocode “worldibdday2017”.

This change reflects how insurance and pharmaceutical companies price their drugs in the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.

Recently, in the United States, Donald Trump has proposed a new healthcare system that would allow health insurance companies to charge higher premiums for coverage to individual with a pre-existing condition.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis would be included as having a pre-existing condition. It would cost even more than it currently does to have access to medications that many rely on to treat their Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis.

I believe that everyone should have easy, inexpensive access to their treatment of choice, whether it’s a biologic, biosimilar, or all natural alternative treatment.

The approaches my documentary offers are very difficult to achieve. They require lifestyle changes to cultivate a healthier gut microbiome, which can take years to do. Following that path, I have not needed to use medications since 2009. My health costs are dramatically lower because of the 5R Healing IBD Framework.

But I am lucky in that I am healthy enough to have the energy to implement some of the alternative treatments my documentary covers. Others are not as fortunate as I am.

For people to manage their IBDs with less suffering, we need a single-payer healthcare system that makes access to conventional and alternative treatments easier, and far less expensive.

Hopefully, the new pricing on my documentary can help spread awareness for this need.

Stay colonized,
-Reid Kimball
